Oversized graphic tee, cropped baggy denim
An oversized faded grey tee printed with a comic-panel "Comic Book Legal Defense Fund" graphic, baggy light-wash jeans cropped above the ankle, white crew socks, and black-and-red Air Jordan 3s.

The tee is doing the talking here, that faded grey comic panel with BLAM printed across the chest is the kind of graphic you actually stop to read, not just glance at. Everything else on this guy plays support.
The jeans are the real proportion story though. Baggy through the leg but cropped well above the ankle, they land in that in-between zone that used to read as a mistake and now reads as a choice, especially with the white crew socks doing the bridge work between denim and sneaker.
Those black and red Air Jordan 3s pick up just enough color to keep the whole look from going monochrome, and the black and gold trucker cap adds a second point of contrast up top. Nothing here is fighting for attention, but nothing is boring either.
It is a very Venice combination, honestly, worn-in graphic tee, beat-up denim, sneakers that have clearly been walked in. The kind of outfit that looks like it happened, not like it was planned.

Not a monochrome trend piece — just a count. About a fifth of the archive is black head to toe except for one accent, and it shows up in every neighborhood we shoot.
