Melrose Trading Post runs every Sunday in the Fairfax High parking lot, 260+ vendors, and Wasteland sits on the same street doing curated resale the rest of the week. If the goal is finding the actual pieces behind the looks rather than just admiring them, this is a street to walk end to end.

Founded in 1997 by actors Pierson Blaetz and Whitney Weston as a way to fund arts education at Fairfax High, the market started with around 40 vendors in the school parking lot and has grown to roughly 275 today -- vintage clothing, handmade goods, art, and antiques over mass-produced resale, which is why the styling here tends to look more personal than a typical flea market. It's raised more than $10 million for the school's arts programs since it began.
