A drive-in theater in the 1960s that became an open-air market in the 1970s, and has been under the same ownership since the 1980s -- the operator's own framing is "proudly serving the community for over 60 years." Fifteen acres and, by Discover Torrance's count, more than 450 vendors. What makes it different from the curated LA flea circuit is that it is open 7 AM to 3 PM every single day except Christmas and New Year's Day, so it is never an event you have to plan around -- it is just there. The city's tourism site lists named theme days, Antique Mondays and Vintage Thursdays among them, though the market's own site currently refers only to "theme days" without naming them; worth checking before making the drive for a specific one.

Most days it's general secondhand and new goods, but twice a month it runs dedicated Vintage Days (the Thursday and Friday before the second Sunday), when the vendor mix shifts specifically toward vintage clothing and accessories.
