Silver Lake
Why We Go
Silverlake Flea spent about a decade here before moving on, and kept the name through every relocation since. The neighborhood still reads the way the market does — '90s and Y2K vintage, unfussy layering, nothing trying very hard. Several of the looks in our archive were photographed at the market itself.

Ten of Forty-Five Looks Are Almost Entirely Black

Sixteen of the forty-five looks in our archive lead with a wide, gathered, or voluminous bottom half, and the interesting part isn't the pants — it's what happens above them to make it work.
