One Loud Piece Is Enough

A plain black V-neck tee, a red-and-green webbing-strap crossbody bag, a full tattoo sleeve, a silver watch, comic-graphic printed trousers in green, yellow, and orange, and black low-top sneakers with white laces.

The pants get there first. A comic-panel print in green, yellow, and orange, with a face and lettering big enough to read from across the street, and everything else in the outfit seems to know it. The black v-neck stays flat and matte, no logo, no texture competing for attention.
That restraint is what makes the bag work instead of clashing. The red-and-green webbing strap reads as its own graphic element, but it's a thin diagonal line against a wide, busy leg, so the eye separates them instead of stacking two loud things on top of each other.
The tattoo sleeve does something similar. It's detailed and dark, but it sits on bare skin against a black sleeve, so it reads as texture rather than another pattern in the mix. Same with the silver watch catching light near the wrist.
Little Tokyo's paper lanterns overhead are doing their own version of this outfit's logic, color against a mostly quiet backdrop, which makes the whole street feel like it's in on the same idea.
