Same silhouette, two completely different amounts of effort. On the left the jeans are just big — clean wash, a few honest rips, hem dragging. On the right they have been worked on: patches, bandana panels, tears that have been allowed to open. Standing together they show how much room the wide-denim shape has in it before it becomes a costume, and neither one has crossed that line.
