The tee is long enough that it reads as the main garment and the skirt only shows as a band of navy underneath — so the outfit gets the ease of a t-shirt with a hem that moves. Nothing here is dressed up: the socks are gym socks, the shoes are chunky and scuffed, the jewellery is thin and mismatched. It is a skirt worn exactly as casually as a pair of shorts.
