One Buried in Layers, One in a Clean White Tee

Neither is dressed for the weather in the same way and neither looks wrong. That is the thing flea markets do to an outfit: everybody is there for several hours in the heat, so what people wear is whatever they left the house in, and the range of answers is wide.

The jeans on the right are the quieter detail. Worn low, pale, pooling over the boot with the hems gone soft — a fit that has been worn to that shape rather than bought in it.

What holds the frame is the timing. He is mid-laugh with his arm thrown up across his body, and his friend is grinning at something off to the side. Nobody is looking at the camera. Behind them, a rack of denim and the white tents going back down the row.
